Hi folks,

I'm trying to generate a level in batch mode while loading a config. I'm getting:
Code: [Select]
****** ERROR OCCURRED ******

Stack Trace:
  1: c-function assert()
  2: calc_quantity() @ monster.lua:1475
  3: fill_monster_map() @ monster.lua:2297
  4: add_monsters() @ monster.lua:2505
  5: Monsters_in_room() @ monster.lua:2744
  6: Monster_make_battles() @ monster.lua:2796
  7: Levels_build_it() @ level.lua:772
  8: Levels_make_level() @ level.lua:887
  9: Levels_make_all() @ level.lua:945
  10: ob_build_cool_shit() @ oblige.lua:742

Script Error: assertion failed!

If I leave off the "-l <filename>" wads are generated without issue.

Thanks!

Which version of OBLIGE are you using?

Also please post the contents of the config file.

I tested this config file with OBLIGE 6.20 and it works for me.

The error message you showed suggests that you are not using a stock OBLIGE 6.20 version, the line numbers do not match the code.  Please double check you are using an unmodified OBLIGE 6.20 and not an earlier version.

I downloaded and built 6.20 from source, but I didn't make any changes to the source code. It must have compiled differently somehow.

Thanks!
