[FIXED] "Could not find flat RROCK01"
« on: October 31, 2009, 10:09:22 PM »
Doomlegacy 1.42 and Doomsday v(something old) both crash when I try to exit the first level generated by Oblige.  Doom Legacy says "R_GetFlatNumForName: Could not find flat RROCK01" - Surprisingly, there are 0 google hits for that phrase.

What can I do? If I try to map directly to the second map, it crashes in the same way.

Another wad generated by oblige crashed with a similar error when I tried to get to map 3.

Not really a bug but a mistake made while editing the LUA. :)

Open doom.lua with a text editor, search for DOOM1_MATERIALS and look for the ROCKRED1 entry. Change RROCK01 under that entry to FLOOR6_1 as the Doom2 texture was accidentally left in somehow.

Ah.  Thank you.

In the mean time, using the 'Tech' theme instead of 'Hell' seems to have avoided the problem. I was able to complete my first Oblige generated episode.  It was very intense, and quite enjoyable.  Especially the part where the cacodemons blotted out the sky.

Yes this bug only happens with the HELL and PSYCHEDELIC themes, so generating TECH or URBAN theme maps should be fine.
