Beta test: version 3.46
« on: September 17, 2009, 06:24:12 AM »
Here is version 3.46 for testing.

Only DOOM (1 and 2) will work, other games need fixing for latest theme stuff.

This includes an URBAN theme (which needs a bit more work) and HELL themes (which need a lot more work).

Please post bugs in the Bug Reports forum, and other comments in this thread.

UPDATE: do not use the Switch Hunt module, that was some experimental crap which should not have been included in the zip.

Everything seems to be pretty well, nothing out of the ordinary so far.

stealth_mons will have to be updated to be consistent with the doom.lua monster changes, however.  Glad to see you toned down the Revenant though because I absolutely hate those.

Speaking of that, are all of the control modules going to override any theme or other level specific settings?  Level Control (as an example) doesn't always work as intended, especially when used with other modules that have their own settings.

Which modules are interfering with each other?

Any module below Level Control in the list that uses LEVEL.style will override it, I think.  This was the case with SLIGE Theme before I put it into themes (and it may still do so, I haven't tried yet).  Is there any way to set module priority so that this one will apply last of all if being used?

That's also why I want overrides for the monster (and weapon?) control modules, since other prefs override them.
